  1. David Nowodworski was born in Warsaw. 
  2. A  member of the JFO, he was in command 
  3. of a small Hashomer Hatzair group and one of the organizers of Hashomer Hatzair. He was deported to Treblinka during the mass roundups but succeeded in escaping and returned to the Ghetto in August 1942 where he gave evidence about what he had just suffered. He confirmed that all convoys without exception, led to death. During the Uprising, he led an armed JFO group through the sewers. This was on 29 April 1943. Later, 
  4. he fought with a group of partisans in the forests of Wyszkow. After being denounced, 
  5. he was captured and murdered by the Gestapo near Lomianski. He was 27 at the time.
